Career & Trade Schools

Career & Trade Schools (CTS) are defined as private, post-secondary organizations that offer a program or course of instruction conducted for the purpose of teaching any trade or any industrial, occupational, vocational, business or technical skills or other post-secondary schools in Maine, including the eight University College locations.

Each of our 14 District Tobacco Prevention Partners (DTPPs) across Maine are available to support evidence-based policy adoption and implementation with the career and trade schools for the purpose of relationship building, learning about their current tobacco policies, including encouraging/providing assistance on tobacco policy changes and implementation support.

To request a copy of the policy template as a word document or to be connected to a DTPP please email us at BreatheEasy@mainehealth.org.
